This week I went to Kenora to watch my dad get his Governor General’s award for EMS/paramedic services. I am so proud of him, he is the most successful and best father you could ever ask for, I know everybody says that, but I truly mean it.
After his ceremony later that night we went to a restaurant called “Dino’s”. It was beautiful let me show you a picture of the inside before I go on.
This restaurant was greek. When I saw it from the outside, I thought and excepted to be going into a regular looking restaurant, I expected it to be smaller, that it would not be as fancy on the inside as it really was.
As we were talking my friends little girl was writing a story for school, she was in grade three, so I asked her if I could read it. She said, ”yes”. As I was reading it, I was surprised how well she could tell a story. She had about 280 words on two separate sheets of paper, telling one story. I have to say that I was impressed because I worked in a school for a year and have never seen a grade three student write so much at once, it was unreal. She was not even done yet either.
Back to the restaurant. I saw this picture and it fascinated me. Apparently my friend told me that it was from ancient greek or somewhere near there.
Just beautiful!
I love history and english, so I found this picture sight grabbing, I couldn’t stop staring at it, in fact i stared at it so long that people were staring at me staring at the photo, but wait that’s not all.
The food was great at this restaurant, I could not have of said it, better myself. Here’s my meal, look at the size of the portion on the plate. It might be deceiving though. The plate of food was huge.
This is the picture before I even touched it.
That was the summary of my trip, hope you enjoyed this…oh yeah, and thanks for reading.

Yes, it certainly was a momentous day and a great evening!
